Bridges are thrilled to be involved with Curating Cambridge, five weeks of culture and creativity across Cambridge. It is presented by the University of Cambridge Museums with the Festival of Ideas, cultural partners and community organisations.

We were invited to create a display in our window, looking at the history of our business. We struck on the idea of how we used to juice, and set about sourcing some retro funky juicers.

If you step inside our café, you will see that we now use state of the art juicers that masticate, whizz, grind and froth for maximising the nutritional benefits from our fresh fruit and veg. What a long way we have come!

Look out for other businesses in the city who are getting involved, plus lots find lots of cultural events here:

The festival runs from 20 October until 23 November 2014.

Autumn is here, and so is our new juice menu.

We like to use seasonal vegetables as well as fruit for our juices and smoothies, to maximise their taste and nutritional benefits.

Try a Cold Buster if you feel you are coming down with a virus, or a Rejuvenator to revive you on a chilly autumn day.

As always, we will make the juice or smoothie fresh for you when you visit. Straight from the juicer is always best for retaining all those nutrients. See you soon!

We thoroughly enjoyed attending the Cambridge BID Mystery Shopping awards recently, held at Robinson College. Heartfelt congratulations go to CallyCo who achieved top marks in every category and were crowned outright winners. It was great for Cambridge businesses to be recognised for providing exemplary service. We so enjoyed networking with other local businesses, and learned more about the Cambridge Ambassadors and Cambridge BID.

And the canapes were delicious! Find full details about the awards here: http://cambridgebid.co.uk/bid-projects&id=57
